The previous two sections, What is Logic? A brief Introduction and The Basic Concepts of Logical Theory defined logic and explained the fundamental concepts of logical theory. Our brief overview of logic ends with a look at five important branches of logical theory, specialized regions of logic that are covered in nearly every standard logic textbook.
